It helps the hip joints, keeps them flexible and improves their movement.

Eka Pada Viparita Dandasana. Lie down on your back making yourself comfortable enough and put your arms back into the head. Slowly rise your right leg up and bring forward your left leg towards your buttocks. Body will be completely raised above the ground and completely backbend with the support of one feet and shoulder. Salabhasana. Lie on your belly with your arms along the sides. Exhale and lift your head, upper torso, arms, and legs away from the floor. Raise your arms parallel to the floor. Gaze forward or slightly upward, being careful not to jut your chin forward and crunch the back of your neck. Stay for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then release with an exhalation.
